My first shoot post lockdown in 2020 was with Natasha and I couldn’t have asked for a more magical experience.

We settled in the tall grass to begin with and the path nearby was so busy, filled with families and kids playing and shouting. We pulled some tarot cards and burned some palo santo, setting the intention for our shoot. And as I picked up my camera and we started creating, I realised that everyone had disappeared. It was completely silent.

Later, while standing on the deck shooting by the water, a little snake swam directly towards and under me. I love snakes, and as a symbol of rebirth and transformation, I took it as a sign that I’m on the right path.
